At Axens North America, we are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services across our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain SAP order and forecast data, as well as CRM system data, to ensure accurate availability information for finished goods.
  • Develop forecasts for and coordinate the purchasing of raw materials and intermediates to support production schedules in coordination with manufacturing sites.
  • Take, acknowledge, and fulfill orders, maintaining job files and preparing order documentation.
  • Purchase raw materials, intermediates, finished products, packaging, and services to support assigned production facilities, product lines, and customers.
  • Coordinate transportation of raw materials, intermediate, and finished goods to meet delivery requirements domestically and internationally.
  • Collect and record freight, storage, service, product, and metals costs necessary for invoicing customers.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Finance personnel to utilize SAP to record and account for transactions.
  • Actively support documentation requirements, procedures, and processes to establish reliable and continuously improving operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in logistics, procurement, scheduling, or customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in ERP software (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships in a multi-cultural and often challenging commercial environment.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities and a proactive approach to problem resolution.
QHSE Requirements:
  • Take responsibility for the sustainability of Axens and ensuring quality performance.
  • Report any and all quality-related issues or non-conformities to your manager.
  • Maintain awareness, proactively participate, and support all Axens policies for quality management.
  • Assist in the continual improvement of an effective Integrated Management System complying with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
