The Position

The IT Program Manager plays a crucial role within the Information Technology Development Team. This position is responsible for overseeing all IT initiatives from inception to completion. The Program Manager will create and uphold project plans, timelines, and budgets, while forecasting workload and resource allocation. A significant focus will be on managing the SAP implementation project through its Deployment and Hypercare phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee planning, scope management, financial oversight, and execution of IT projects aligned with business goals.
  • Establish project milestones and drive progress towards completion.
  • Lead and coordinate project scope and objectives, clarifying the roles and responsibilities of each team member.
  • Utilize standard project management tools and procedures to monitor project performance, adhering to Altar'd State's standards.
  • Identify and address resource requirements, including personnel, IT systems, and onboarding materials.
  • Guide project team members and facilitate productive meetings and workshops.
  • Collaborate effectively with vendors to develop and adhere to a shared project plan.
  • Identify and manage project-related issues and risks, developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively remove obstacles in project execution and development sprints.
  • Employ critical thinking to manage project dependencies throughout the lifecycle.
  • Provide consistent project status updates to all organizational levels.
  • Work closely with internal product owners to fulfill business requirements from the prioritized development backlog.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of projects for effective post-deployment support.
  • Communicate proactively with all team members, stakeholders, and leadership regarding project status, risks, mitigation plans, and overall progress, ensuring alignment among stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders, fostering consensus around projects.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills with both internal customers and external service providers.

  • Familiarity with Project Management Methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum.

  • Experience managing full-cycle SAP Projects with a minimum of three years in SAP Project Management.
  • Strong expertise in S4 HANA.
  • Preferred experience in the SAP Domain with hands-on functional knowledge.
  • Maintaining annual PMP certification and staying updated with PMP trends.
  • Bachelor's degree required; technology-related fields preferred.
