As a Front Desk Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily activities of the Front Office team, ensuring exceptional service delivery in accordance with company policies and regulations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming, registering, and assigning accommodations to guests.
- Handling incoming calls and inquiries.
- Processing charges, computing bills, collecting payments, and providing change.
- Managing reservations and monitoring room availability.
- Coordinating laundry services as required.
- Overseeing the continental breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Scheduling wake-up calls and managing guest communications.
- Facilitating check-out procedures.
- Opening and closing shifts, including cash management.
- Maintaining stock levels in the coffee and market area.
- Ensuring adherence to cash and key control protocols.
- Providing safe transportation for guests when applicable.
- Offering information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Fostering effective communication within the department through meetings and logs.
- Training new Front Office staff on operational procedures and standards.
- Assisting in maintaining food safety and sanitation standards when applicable.
- Performing administrative tasks to support management, including forecasting and recordkeeping.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the Front Office and lobby areas.
- Inspecting facilities and reporting maintenance issues.
Job Requirements:
We seek a proactive Front Desk Operations Manager with a strong commitment to excellence and outstanding communication skills. Ideal candidates will possess:
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Exceptional customer service aptitude.
- A valid Driver's License with no major violations.
