We are seeking a Financial & Accounting Systems Lead to be based in the Greater Austin area. The company is currently undergoing a significant multi-phase ERP transformation utilizing Oracle e-Business Suite. This role is pivotal within the Finance & Accounting Center of Excellence (CoE). The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on expertise in both the processes and technologies associated with Oracle e-Business Suite financial modules, along with its integration into Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Manufacturing, and Costing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in defining system requirements, designing and prototyping solutions, consulting with users on process transformation, and managing testing, training, and go-live activities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with all management levels and navigate across functional lines.
  • Experience in managing work stream scope, handling change requests, and delivering against established milestones while mitigating risks and proposing best practice solutions.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize competing business needs while consistently delivering high-quality and timely results.
  • Experience in at least three complete implementation cycles of Oracle EBS Applications (R12).
  • Over 10 years of functional implementation experience with Oracle EBS (eBusiness Suite).
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Cash Management, TCA Customer Model, SLA, and EB-Tax.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EBS integration concerning Supply Chain, Finance, and Manufacturing processes.
  • Prior experience in businesses with intercompany and multi-currency transactions.
  • A balanced skill set in both functional and technical aspects of Oracle EBS core applications.
  • Data analysis and management capabilities across all operational data, including Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, WIP, BOM, and Master Data.
  • Ability to manage changes necessary for the successful adoption of new solution-driven processes.
  • Familiarity with AIM methodology and Waterfall/Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead a center of excellence for operational finance processes and associated applications to drive continuous improvement in financial operations.
  • Encourage the adoption of best practices in finance application management.
  • Plan and execute strategic and tactical initiatives leveraging Oracle e-Business Suite financial modules.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of business requirements and functional configurations utilizing Oracle e-Business Suite.
  • Prepare and validate solutions for enhancements in alignment with Oracle best practices.
  • Conduct workshops and facilitate/document business requirements to understand organizational demands and initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on setup and functional module implementation/configuration.
  • Demonstrate the ability to enhance process efficiency and manage organizational change effectively.
  • Act as the subject matter expert in business processes and system solutions to optimize, standardize, and enhance system solutions and business processes.
  • Collaborate proactively with financial systems providers to stay informed on best practices and deliver new functionalities to support accounting, reporting, and financial planning.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Oracle applications to ensure compliance throughout project initiatives.
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial close processes.
  • Work with project stakeholders to analyze solutions for process improvements.
  • Oversee the release management process, including prioritization, planning, building, testing, and execution in accordance with compliance requirements.
  • Manage data conversion, cutover, go-live, and production support activities.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance Information Systems, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting transactions and internal financial controls.
  • Certification in Oracle EBS is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CPA, CSCP, CPIM, or CPSM.
  • PMP Certification is advantageous.
