About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Infrastructure Automation team at Alight Solutions Caribe, Inc. This team is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure as code modules, coding standards, and pipeline tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, vision, and direction to the team to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Manage the needs of individual team members, features, and capabilities owned by the team.
  • Provide hands-on expertise and guidance to team members.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of Terraform modules used across Alight.
  • Guide the development and maintenance of integration pipelines, IaC testing frameworks, infrastructure drift impact, and module code distribution.
  • Maintain the product backlog, ensuring stories are properly defined and prioritized.
  • Ensure platform governance, efficient utilization, and compliance with security and operational standards.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, software design/development, cloud technology.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, and other cloud services.
  • 3+ years of experience managing direct reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient with Agile development, Scrum methodology, and DevOps principles.

Salary Pay Range:

$112,700 - $178,900 USD

Alight considers a variety of factors in determining whether to extend an offer of employment and in setting the appropriate compensation level, including, but not limited to, a candidate's experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography.

Alight makes these decisions on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Bonus and/or incentive eligibility are determined by role and level.
