Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing detailed cost estimates for water infrastructure projects, from conceptual design to the bid phase. This role may also involve training and mentoring junior estimators, as well as reviewing and interpreting project documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review cost estimates for water infrastructure projects at various stages of design completion
  • Collaborate with design teams to gain a deep understanding of client needs and project requirements
  • Prepare and review labor rates, equipment rental rates, and quantity surveys for projects throughout the United States
  • Procure pricing from vendors and manufacturers for proprietary equipment
  • Lead coordination with design groups to ensure accurate and comprehensive project documentation
  • Review and interpret project documents, including drawings, specifications, and contract language

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Construction, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience in water infrastructure project management
  • Proficiency in on-screen take-off software, such as Sage Estimating (Timberline)
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex project documents
  • Ability to travel to job sites and attend facility tours, as required

Compensation and Benefits
