Job Title: Senior Manager - Infrastructure Services

Eaton's Corporate IT group is seeking a Senior Manager to lead our perimeter network connectivity environment.

About the Role

This role can be located at various Eaton sites across the United States. Relocation assistance will be provided. Travel up to 25% will be required. A hybrid work model (3 onsite/2 remote) is available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a geographically diverse, multi-platform technology team responsible for the architecture, design, installation, and support of all externally facing (perimeter) network technologies across all Eaton locations.
  • Collaborate with Site Connectivity and Cyber Security leaders to provide a unified service.
  • Establish processes and methods to provide continuous 7x24 support of all Infrastructure systems across the globe (Follow-The-Sun).
  • Negotiate and implement global maintenance support agreements.
  • Gather business requirements, designing and implementing solutions; as well as, support ongoing lifecycle of those solutions.
  • Partner with Cloud Infrastructure teams for joint development of technology standards where appropriate.
  • Leverage new technology trends (automation) to reduce administrative burden of implementing and supporting Perimeter networking solutions.
  • Financial management of Perimeter Connectivity solutions (with budget ownership).
  • Provide support for Network Security Operations technologies that enable secure site connectivity globally including site firewalls, and network segmentation.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to manage 3rd party IT service management groups to ensure SLA are met, efficiency gains are recognized, and cost reduction targets are realized.
  • Solid working knowledge of Network and Security technology.
  • Seasoned Manager of People at leading and developing a global team of technical network/security professionals.
  • Experience providing global level service across a multi-site, complex, matrixed organization.
  • Minimum 10 years IT Infrastructure with networking technologies.
  • Minimum 10 years IT Networking experience in a geographically diverse environment using various WAN (Wide Area Network) technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Work experience with Network routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MGP, MPLS); Layer 1-3, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VoIP, advanced network architecture and technologies; computing hardware and operating systems; cloud connectivity.
  • Familiarity with Hardware (switches, routers, wireless access points, wireless controllers, 5G, SDN, Load Balancers, Firewalls) and associated operating systems (IoS, Linux, Unix).
  • Agile Methodologies/SCRUM.
  • PMP certification or experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting or environment is preferred.
What We Offer

Eaton provides competitive pay and a variety of benefit programs for eligible employees. The expected annual salary range for this role is $153,000 - $225,000 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
