Job Overview

Bethel Park, a senior living community committed to excellence, is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(K) with employer matching, paid time off, and meals and uniforms.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supervising the dietary and kitchen team, supporting the Executive Chef in maintaining high-quality food production
  • Controlling food costs, managing inventory, and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Maintaining accurate records of food safety equipment and temperature records
  • Coordinating meal service, receiving, rotating, and inventorying products
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Two (2) years' experience as a Sous Chef
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • A current Food Services Sanitation certificate
  • An Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts preferred
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
