Position Overview

As a key player in the financial planning domain, you will engage in intricate economic assessments and strategic planning activities to bolster corporate objectives and ensure the integrity of capital expenditure justifications. Your role will involve providing comprehensive financial analysis support to departmental leaders and participating in specialized projects, delivering essential financial data as required. Your expertise and experience will guide your work priorities, and you will serve as a valuable resource for less experienced colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver data insights, analytics, and reporting to support the Xfinity Product Finance FP&A team in formulating strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts, utilizing advanced technical skills.
    • Leverage existing Comcast dashboards and query tools effectively.
    • Employ advanced SQL techniques for data analytics, including relational joins, temporary tables, data cleaning, and transformation.
    • Craft impactful presentations of data using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau, ensuring clarity and visual appeal.
    • Design and maintain Tableau dashboards that facilitate data discovery and provide user-friendly download options.
    • Oversee the publication and maintenance of the team's Tableau Server site, managing user access and scheduled jobs.
  • Enhance and maintain existing scheduled reports while creating new reports and conducting ad hoc analyses as necessary.

Product Finance Team Duties
  • Assist in formulating strategic plans for current and prospective business operations.
  • Analyze cost and expense challenges and identify profit enhancement opportunities.
  • Recommend improvements in analytical and budgeting methodologies; assess the impact of corporate projects.
  • Communicate weekly metrics, monthly outcomes, and quarterly and annual forecasts.
  • Conduct economic evaluations to justify capital expenditures.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and be adaptable to varying schedules as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred. Comcast may also consider candidates with a combination of relevant coursework and experience or those with extensive professional experience in related fields.

Relevant Experience
2-5 years in a similar role.
