Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. in Beaumont, TX. As a key member of our branch operations group, you will be responsible for selling our products and services to prospective and established customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service via face-to-face, phone, and email interactions.
- Execute all aspects of the sales function, including order processing, purchase orders, payment processing, quotes, and delivery dates.
- Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications as needed.
- Obtain and monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.
- Educate customers about product terminology, features, and benefits to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items.
- Assist customers with warranties and returns.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager to determine best methods to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Periodically reach out to customers to determine satisfaction with our organization, products, and services.
- Maintain records and prepare reports on sales activities.
- 3-6 years of progressive sales experience.
- 3+ years in the HVAC industry.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent, some college preferred.
