A Day in the Life of a Transaction Specialist

As a Transaction Specialist, you are a key member of the finance department for our company. You provide transactional support to the finance function as needed, including storing payments and financial documents. With great attention to detail, you contribute to the maintenance of accounting data, processing of invoices to clients, and providing timely and accurate payment processing.

You will utilize computer-based systems to research outstanding invoices and follow up on client and vendor billing inquiries. Your positive attitude and flexibility with assigned responsibilities are essential to helping us accomplish our goals. Keys to success in this role include the ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Provide transactional support to the finance function as needed
  • Store payments and financial documents
  • Maintain accounting data
  • Process invoices to clients
  • Provide timely and accurate payment processing
  • Research outstanding invoices
  • Follow up on client and vendor billing inquiries
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College courses or working towards a degree is a plus
  • Previous office experience
  • Intermediate or Advanced Proficiency in Excel
