Compensation: $25 - $32 / hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a range of routine and specialized testing assignments within environmental chambers to ensure prompt and precise test outcomes. (Testing examples include temperature, humidity, and altitude assessments)
  • Prepare articles provided by customers for testing procedures.
  • Operate environmental testing chambers and data collection equipment.
  • Maintain meticulous organization of testing documentation, including procedures, logs, equipment inventories, photographs, and test results.
  • Perform daily upkeep of chambers, refrigeration systems, control mechanisms, and mechanical systems.
  • Contribute to lab-wide safety and efficiency initiatives by applying 5S methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; familiarity with chambers, refrigeration systems, HVAC, low voltage electrical systems, PLC controllers, thermocouples, humidity sensors, pressure sensors, and/or data loggers is advantageous.
  • Proficient in interpreting customer specifications and executing the necessary testing.
  • Capable of independent problem-solving and autonomously organizing daily tasks to fulfill required objectives.
  • Experience with 5S practices is preferred.
