We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon, where you will be responsible for developing antenna or radome hardware and requirements. As a member of our interdisciplinary engineering team, you will work closely with thermal, structural, mechanical, systems, and other engineers to design and develop complex projects that shape antenna, radome, and antenna measurement system technology.
Key Responsibilities- Develop antenna or radome hardware and requirements
- Work with interdisciplinary engineering teams to design and develop complex projects
- Collaborate with antenna manufacturing suppliers
- Interpret simulation or measurement test data to verify performance to requirements
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
- Experience and/or coursework in programming and/or simulation experience in MATLAB, SIMULINK, C/C++, or equivalent language
- Experience and/or coursework with communication theory, RF and electromagnetic theory, and proficiency with modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi and/or GRASP
- ABET accreditation standard
- 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Solid background and practical understanding of designing GPS antenna systems
- Model generation and simulation experience with conformal antennas
- Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, and/or other high-level scientific programming languages
- Proficiency with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and schedulers such as SLURM
