Electrical Engineer Job Description

The Perryman Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems
  • Modify electrical systems to correct functional deviations
  • Diagnose and repair electrical or mechanical malfunctions
  • Develop wiring diagrams and engineering specifications for system modifications
  • Plan and direct periodic electrical testing and recommend equipment modifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with PLC's, HMI, SCADA, and networking
  • Knowledge of power distribution systems and NFPA 70E and OSHA requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and math skills
  • Ability to work 50+ hours per week and be on-call
