Radiology Technician

Key Responsibilities

As a Radiology Technician, you will:
- Conduct timely and high-quality radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
- Perform quality control checks and audits on radiologic equipment.
- Conduct drug screenings, urinalysis, and other laboratory tests, including processing specimens for reference labs.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, including lab work and radiology services.
- Adhere to occupational client's preference cards and procedures.
- Assist with general patient care as needed.

Qualifications

You should possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care environment is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Radiological Sciences program.
- A current ARRT license is mandatory.
- A General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT) license if required by state regulations.
- The ability to obtain BLS Certification within 30 days of employment.
- Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
