Position Title: Project Engineer

Position Summary:

We are in search of a skilled Project Engineer who possesses strong leadership capabilities and a solid work ethic. This role is crucial for the successful management and timely delivery of complex, multimillion-dollar heavy civil projects, including highways and bridges, from the initial planning stages through to completion.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and uphold company safety policies, ensuring compliance with our core value of Safety First.
  • Lead and manage a team of project field engineers and support staff.
  • Collaborate in the development and execution of innovative construction strategies to enhance productivity and safety.
  • Contribute to the creation and management of comprehensive project management plans, including schedules and budgets.
  • Foster strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and design teams.
  • Oversee daily project operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and accountability for project outcomes.
  • Manage procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of subcontractor and supplier services.
  • Track project progress and prepare accurate cost reporting and cash flow projections.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control measures and maintain thorough documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical support for construction planning and the development of efficient construction methods.
  • Facilitate project close-out processes, including punch list management and system turnover.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in heavy civil construction.
  • Strong understanding of industry practices and standards.
  • Ability to navigate various construction environments and climates.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
