Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Chef Manager to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and food experiences. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be responsible for training and managing kitchen personnel, supervising culinary activities, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure seamless culinary operations
  • Estimate food consumption and requisition/purchase ingredients to meet demand
  • Select and develop recipes to maintain consistent quality and presentation
  • Establish and maintain high standards of kitchen safety and sanitation
  • Oversee special events and catering operations, and provide culinary instruction and demonstrations as needed
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related position
  • 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of food principles and practices
  • Experiential knowledge of people management and problem-solving
  • Excellent oral, reading, and written communication skills
