About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Systems Technician to join our team at Micron Technology. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our chemical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure all safety training is completed and work is conducted in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policies. Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performed and follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with area leaders to create personal performance and development goals. Partner with team members to supervise data to continuously improve critical metrics and ensure pass down is accurate and reflects the current work status.
  • Project Management/Planning: Support or lead area projects to ensure results are completed within required scope and schedule. Follow proper business processes for maintaining, installing, modifying, or removing facilities equipment.
  • Technical/Data Analysis: Independently perform technical tasks, apply judgment in quickly resolving routine problems, and troubleshoot problems where reference materials are available. Identify and resolve chronic equipment alarm issues and drive a culture of TPM including TPM metrics, CIP items, MTAGs, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Intermediate PC skills including a familiarity with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Consistent record following procedures and working with minimal direction.
  • Flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments.
  • Proven time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Proven track record to multi-task in a high-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and self-improve.
  • Ability to be respiratory certified.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred: two-year industry-related associate degree and/or working towards a STEM-related degree.
