Work Schedule: Compressed Day Shift - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, alternating Wednesdays
Compensation: $22.00/hr.
Location: Boise, Idaho

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure replacement materials from the on-site warehouse and address chemical system alerts.
  • Prepare chemical drums for connection to distribution systems by ensuring cleanliness.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks before loading any chemicals onto systems, utilizing on-site scanning and quality control software.
  • Respond to requests for chemicals and alarms via telephone, radio, and pager.
  • Utilize a computer for email, monitoring tank levels, requisitioning chemicals, unloading drums, and accessing chemical information.
  • Maintain proper segregation of chemicals and lot numbers in storage areas.
  • Ensure accurate delivery of chemicals to designated areas and connect them to the correct distribution systems.
  • Transport, clean, and connect 55-gallon chemical drums and 300-gallon totes to distribution systems.
  • Interpret and understand chemical labels.
  • Employ barcode scanning equipment and PLC touch screens to manage low chemical alerts and connect new drums.
Qualifications
  • Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions, including procedural breakdowns.
  • Experience in handling hazardous materials and familiarity with SCBA and personal protective equipment.
  • Proficient in PC applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Capable of working independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work 12-hour shifts.
Preferred Experience
  • Background in military jet fuel or avionics (trucks, planes, helicopters).
  • Experience as a chemical or gas handler, military aviation, fleet mechanics, or fuel specialist.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to walk up to 5 miles daily, stand for 8-10 hours, and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, crouching, kneeling in confined spaces, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 pounds. These physical demands are essential for successfully performing the job's core functions.
