Thyssenkrupp Elevator is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team in Manhattan, NY. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for successfully securing and maintaining service accounts and repair work, as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers to meet annual revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities- Exceed sales goals and quotas by utilizing company tools for service and repair growth and cancellation reduction.
- Manage service accounts by visiting with Tier 1, 2, and 3 customers within assigned territory to develop ongoing relationships and build an understanding of their needs and wants.
- Develop capital plans for customers to address their short- and long-term building needs.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of company products by attending training classes and studying factory equipment manuals and supplier information.
- Prepare repair job proposals by estimating labor and other job costs using estimating software programs.
- Prepare service contract bids, including reviewing blueprints and surveying equipment when necessary.
- Receive and respond to written and oral questions related to quoted repairs and service contracts.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
- Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of sales experience or training required.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or blueprint/drawings preferred.
- Experience selling Service/Repair, Construction, and Modernization in elevators strongly preferred.
Thyssenkrupp Elevator offers a competitive salary range of $79,900 to $115,960, a car allowance, fuel card, and monthly commission program. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, parental leave, wellness program, 401K, vacation pay, holiday pay, tuition assistance, free life insurance, and disability insurance.
