Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving assigned sales goals for one or more properties. This role requires effective communication and negotiation skills to secure new accounts and maintain existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively conduct solicitation calls, sales tours, and entertain clients to grow existing relationships and secure new accounts.
  • Monitor and evaluate trends within the market segment to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop a full working knowledge of the operations and policies of the hotel and applicable departments.
  • Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality's established regulations, company standards, sales standards, and sales metrics.
  • Attend daily/weekly/monthly meetings and any other functions required by management.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; previous Hotel Sales experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state.
  • Developed verbal and written communication skills to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence other managerial personnel, hotel guests, and/or corporate clients.
  • Experience with professional selling skills desired: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks; strong organization and presentation skills.
