We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Interstate Advanced Materials. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing new and existing customer accounts, developing and servicing a customer base of repeat customers, and prospecting and qualifying new sales leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a positive attitude and a team mentality to drive sales success
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
  • Develop and service a customer base of repeat customers
  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads while maintaining a well-developed pipeline of sales prospects
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and targets
  • Track and update sales activity and customer information through our CRM system
  • Plan and organize daily responsibilities to maximize efficiency and accuracy of work
  • Develop strong customer and vendor relationships
  • Provide price quotations and negotiate purchases to maximize margins
  • Process and close customer transactions, including orders, quotes, and returns
  • Correspond with manufacturers and negotiate purchases as needed

Requirements:

  • Inside sales experience, preferably in the plastics industry
  • Strong phone and computer skills
  • Basic math skills, including decimal and fraction conversions
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field
  • Outgoing and positive attitude
