About the Position:
We are looking for a dedicated Litigation Attorney with 4-10 years of experience in securities litigation to join our esteemed team. This role will emphasize managing intricate shareholder derivative actions, securities fraud claims, antitrust litigation, and whistleblower cases. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in securities class actions, providing an excellent opportunity for those transitioning from defense to plaintiff-side work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct securities litigation cases, concentrating on shareholder derivative actions and securities fraud.
  • Develop and litigate whistleblower claims while engaging in antitrust litigation.
  • Represent plaintiffs in significant securities class actions, collaborating with a team committed to delivering outstanding legal services.
  • Prepare legal documentation, conduct thorough legal research, and offer legal counsel and guidance.
  • Draft and argue motions, manage discovery processes, and participate in depositions and court hearings.
  • Stay informed on laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all legal undertakings.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law institution and bar admission.
  • 4-10 years of experience in securities litigation, ideally with some exposure to a plaintiff-focused practice.
  • This position welcomes associates currently in defense roles who are eager to shift to plaintiff-side work.
  • Exceptional writing and analytical abilities, coupled with a creative thought process and a strong academic background.
  • While experience in Delaware's Court of Chancery is not mandatory, familiarity with corporate governance and Chancery Court is advantageous.
  • Capability to work efficiently, both independently and collaboratively, in a dynamic environment with multiple projects and shifting priorities.
