Responsibilities will encompass training welding personnel, establishing comprehensive documentation protocols, and overseeing critical builds of rocket components.

Furthermore, you will spearhead the identification and acquisition of manufacturing tools, manage repairs on essential equipment, and design specialized tooling to optimize production processes. Your knowledge will be crucial in attaining industry certifications and elevating our quality benchmarks while promoting a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a metallurgical authority on joining techniques
  • Validate welding procedures and direct material testing initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience in welding environments
  • Proficiency in non-destructive testing methods and joining processes such as GTAW and LBW
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to produce visually acceptable manual GTAW fillet welds in aluminum and stainless steel
