Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team at Rule 5 Hire. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing production support by performing setup, troubleshooting, and operations of automated welding cells within a production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform setup, troubleshooting, and operations of automated welding cells
  • Implement best practices and proactively assess welding/robotic applications
  • Mentor Auto and Weld Technicians
  • Execute with proficiency all duties and responsibilities requirements of weld technician
  • Prioritize tasks within the facility relating to weld troubleshooting, set-up coordinated with production

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of Weld Technician, Automation Technician, or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of ladder logic and intermediate level ability to troubleshoot issues through a PLC
  • Intermediate Weld Troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of Miyachi Weld Tester
