Job Description Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide comprehensive financial leadership to GE HealthCare's Advanced Visualization Solutions (AVS) segment, driving growth and financial performance. As a key member of the segment leadership team, the CFO will partner across the value stream to promote organic & inorganic growth, margin expansion, and cash flow conversion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Partner: Drive growth and financial performance for the short, mid, and long-term for a fully loaded P&L and balance sheet.
  • Capital Allocation: Manage capital & resource allocation across the value stream, including new product introductions and the entire product lifecycle.
  • Financial Planning: Lead the development and delivery of quarterly financial targets, annual operating plans/forecasts, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Business Transformation: Guide the transformation of 2 business units of Image Guided Therapies and Ultrasound into a high-performing AVS business segment of GEHC.
  • Profitable Growth: Drive profitable growth through analysis of results, key metrics reporting, and advising the leadership team on risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis, insights, and expertise to support business decision-making while anticipating, evaluating and mitigating strategic risks and opportunities.
  • Business Development: Oversee Business Development and acquisition integration activities for the segment, including evaluating and executing inorganic growth opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Provide functional leadership for a team 60+ Finance colleagues in Controllership, Business Finance, FP&A.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead cross-functional projects to enhance operational performance, founded on Lean principles.
  • Process Improvement: Simplify and automate monthly closing processes to improve linearity, increase visibility, and reduce manual work.
  • Controllership: Drive controllership throughout the operating team, ensure SOX compliance, and support external financial audits as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:

A Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration is required. Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to add financial expertise and strategic value to operating teams are essential. Demonstrated ability to lead and communicate effectively in a global team environment, across strategic business units and with headquarters is necessary. Experience with financial systems/applications and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.

Desired Characteristics include training and/or certification in process improvement methodologies such as LEAN and international assignment experience in a large corporate enterprise.
