VP of Finance Job Description

Seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for a major manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in a manufacturing environment and multi-site responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Division GM and Segment CFO to inform financial decisions and drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize return on investment, reduce trade working capital requirements, and increase free cash flows.
  • Oversee financial statement preparation, including income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
  • Lead the 3-Year Strategy Planning process, coordinating with commercial, engineering, and operations functions.
  • Own the annual budget process, working with plant controllers and division leadership to set financial targets.
  • Direct monthly forecasting and close process, with consolidation and corporate reporting.
  • Participate in financial analysis for contract negotiations, capital expenditures, and product investment decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiency measures through technology implementation and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, US GAAP, IFRS, and laws.
  • Partner with other functions to support division projects, including 80/20 execution, pricing strategy, and footprint optimization.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to finance team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, with previous experience in a manufacturing environment and multi-site responsibility.

Salary: $200,000-$250,000
