We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at PLS Financial Services. Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business and drive customer satisfaction
- Promote our financial products and services to current and potential customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue
- Ensure all transactions are completed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Follow company policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer, accurately processing transactions and handling cash
- Use multiple computer applications to access information and process transactions, staying up-to-date with the latest technology and systems
- Resolve customer complaints or refer complaints to the Store Manager for resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean environment, adhering to company standards and expectations
- Perform other duties as instructed by management, contributing to the success and growth of PLS Financial Services
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience in industries such as financial services, retail, or hospitality is preferred
- Ability, willingness, and comfort to engage with customers, building strong relationships and trust
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to drive sales, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and growth
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
- Professional appearance and demeanor, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
- Able to work flexible hours, including early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
- English fluency is required, with English/Spanish bilingualism a plus
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, with the ability to lift 15 lbs and work in restrictive spaces

Pay
The approximate hourly wage range for the Customer Service Representative in New York is between $16.00 and $17.00.
