Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Case Support Specialist to join our team at HomeBase Staten Island. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our housing unit reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule home visits to maximize efficiency and meet client needs.
  • Conduct thorough and accurate housing walkthroughs, documenting findings and ensuring compliance with CityFHEPS guidance and HomeBase policies.
  • Communicate with clients to schedule appointments and provide support as needed.
  • Manage electronic and paper files, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Identify and report health and safety issues to the Supervisor.
  • Participate in case conferences and provide support to Case Managers as required.
  • Assist with pre-clearance requests, follow up on repair issues, and perform other support tasks as needed.
  • Serve as a courier for programmatic needs and participate in administrative meetings as requested.
  • Provide data for weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports to CAMBA management and funders.
  • May escort clients to appointments and conduct program outreach as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
