We are seeking a motivated and solution-focused individual to take on the role of Business Development Representative at our Harmarville location. This full-time position will report directly to the PDC Pharmacy Administrator of Operations. The primary responsibility of the Business Development Representative is to assist in driving business growth by supporting essential sales functions for PDC Pharmacy. Key responsibilities include managing campaigns, generating leads, qualifying prospects, conducting sales presentations, and representing the company at trade shows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance sales by identifying and securing direct sales opportunities, with a strong emphasis on new business.
- Proactively engage with the customer base to uncover additional sales opportunities.
- Design and implement targeted marketing initiatives, including strategic plans for trade shows and new service offerings.
- Provide assistance to the PDC Pharmacy Administrator of Operations in securing strategic accounts and developing new sales territories.
- Maintain consistent and professional communication with all potential customer accounts.
- Oversee all aspects of trade show activities, including pre-show planning, on-site engagement, and post-show follow-up.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry of leads and opportunities in Salesforce (CRM).
- Support the PDC Pharmacy Administrator of Operations with internal sales and marketing reporting.
- Manage inventory of marketing materials and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed.
- Exhibit a strong ability to quickly assess and qualify lead opportunities.
- Engage customers through both in-person and virtual presentations of services and solutions.
- Travel as necessary to support sales efforts, customer visits, and trade shows.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in sales or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with the human services sector is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of sales processes and procedures is essential.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management Software is required, with Salesforce experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including managing spreadsheets, is required.
- Competence in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word is necessary.
- Knowledge of market research tools is required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Ability to articulate the company's key value propositions effectively to customers is required.
- Must possess strong communication skills while representing the company to various stakeholders.
