Role Summary:

The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role within the Customer Service team, primarily supporting Wholesale clients in the northeastern region. This position is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to the organization's Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Client Interaction Responsibilities:

Ensure a positive experience for external clients in a dynamic customer service setting. Manage inquiries through various channels, including email, phone, and online chat. Build strong relationships with both external clients and internal team members to facilitate a seamless and effective customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily management of electronic mail and accurate logging in the agency management system.
  • Monitor the agency management system for misapplied correspondence and activities.
  • Assist with customer inquiries through phone, email, and online chat, with an expectation of 50% phone handling.
  • Support Underwriting with Renewal Information Requests and process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, loss runs, audit requests, and other client servicing items.
  • Request routine policy modifications as directed by the Account Manager.
  • Report claims to the insurance carrier.
  • Provide assistance to Producers, including the preparation of presentations and proposals.
  • Conduct data entry within the agency management system.
  • Process policies by retrieving them from websites, ensuring accuracy against proposals and the agency management system, and making necessary corrections per agency guidelines.
  • Review daily Activity follow-up lists and take appropriate actions.
  • Establish and maintain high levels of trust and confidence with the Account Service team by promptly addressing and resolving service requests and issues.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.


Compensation:

Hourly rate: $21 - $27
