Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents in our community.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a licensed therapist with experience working with children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied psychotherapy, with a focus on evidence-based approaches and interventions. As a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and providing therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents, as well as collaborating with medical professionals and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and provide therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents, utilizing individual, family, and group modalities.
- Collaborate with medical professionals and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with parents, collateral contacts, outside agencies, school systems, and/or outside providers regarding treatment plans.
- Consult with staff child psychiatrists regarding patients' progress and treatment; confers with attending physicians regarding hospitalized patients.
- Maintain appropriate and timely documentation of clinical services and related clinical contacts.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's level degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling. You must also have a minimum of two years of post-master's practice experience in applied psychotherapy, with a minimum of one year practicing with a majority pediatric population (0-18 years) within the last 5 years. A current unrestricted Oregon and Washington LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, PsyD, or PhD license is required.
Preferred QualificationsWe prefer candidates with past experience in child and adolescent intensive outpatient programs, partial day hospitalization programs, or residential programs. Experience with documentation utilizing an electronic medical record is also preferred. Additionally, documented training or experience in areas such as CBT, DBT, family therapy, parent management training, and/or Collaborative Problem Solving is highly desirable.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $54,210 per year, based on the location and industry standards. Kaiser Permanente offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
This is a full-time position with a regular schedule, working 40 hours per week. The shift is day, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The position is located at the Cascade Park Medical Offices in Vancouver, Washington.
