Licensed Mental Health Therapist

About the Role:
Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual and group counseling, case management, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment planning to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment.
- Work with chronically ill patients, patients in the Intensive Outpatient Program, or patients who are considered high utilizers.
- Collaborate with CDMHP's, inpatient facilities, including Western State Hospital, to ensure proper protocols are followed for hospitalization authorization and during discharge planning.
- Provide individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment plans, as well as lead groups.
- Provide therapy to managed care patients that are pre-authorized to receive mental health treatment.
- Provide clinical supervision to other clinicians who are pursuing licensing requirements.
- Assist the Program Manager and clinical supervisor to conduct clinical chart reviews.
- Support the agency's efforts to ensure compliance with WACs, RCWs, and clinical contracts.
Requirements:
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work with coursework in psychological diagnostics.
- Four or more years of clinical experience in the field.
- Active, approved license from the Washington State Department of Health at all times.
- Meet criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
- Hold and maintain an active Washington State Mental Health Counselor License, Marriage and Family Therapist License, or Independent Clinical Social Worker License.
Additional Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hire date and maintenance throughout employment.
- Annual TB test.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, not required.
