Position Overview

Tempus is on the lookout for a highly skilled Sales Operations Associate to become a part of our expanding Sales Operations team. This role is pivotal in enhancing sales force effectiveness for our oncology and neuropsychiatry clinician-facing sales teams, alongside managing sales forecasting and reporting for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams and initiatives to enhance sales force effectiveness across various seller roles, aiming to maximize patient access to Tempus sequencing benefits.
  • Inspire the sales team through the creation of forecasts, incentive plans, and quotas.
  • Extract valuable insights from extensive sales and customer data to direct sales force priorities.
  • Spot opportunities and spearhead changes to boost seller efficiency in the field.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders and data teams to continuously refine sales force structure and territory allocation.
  • Analyze large datasets to generate substantial market insights and actionable strategies.
  • Initiate and implement pilot programs to cultivate growth opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of post-graduate experience in business analytics, finance, sales operations, or commercial operations within a commercial setting.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Looker is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in data manipulation and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Solid business acumen.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain robust relationships across various departments (Sales, Marketing, Legal, Business Development, Operations, Product, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the commercial sector of oncology, particularly with clinician-facing products, and/or within a life sciences organization.
