Outside Parts Sales Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Outside Parts Sales Representative to join our team at TEC Equipment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing our truck parts sales business by identifying, profiling, and calling on prospective customers. You will also ensure customer satisfaction from start to finish, accurately complete all processes and required paperwork, and maintain contact with existing customers to meet their needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize creative strategies and sales techniques to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional service to customers.
  • Identify, profile, and call on prospective customers to increase market share.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction from start to finish.
  • Accurately complete all processes and required paperwork.
  • Maintain contact with existing customers to meet their needs.
  • Create relationships and work with internal team members to achieve common goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on inventory, market, and customer trends.
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of minimum outside parts sales experience required.
  • Experience with heavy duty truck parts sales (outside sales experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of local customers, filling out customer reports and objectives a must.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and able to source new business.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with customers.
  • Ability to strategically drive sales in a competitive market.
  • Ability to gain in-depth knowledge of parts.
  • Valid driver's license and able to meet insurance requirements.
Compensation:

The total pay range for this position is $81,173 to $104,889.
