Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular surveys and interviews with residents to determine their interests, talents, and satisfaction with community programs and activities.
  • Develop and implement activities that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Provide individualized attention to each resident to promote their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and coordinate activities and programs that enhance the resident experience.
  • Utilize excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and visitors.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in wellness, fitness, or recreational therapy in senior living preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of the aging process and its impact on senior adults in an independent living setting.
  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and adapt to changing conditions and frequent demands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
