Job Summary

ResCare Community Living is seeking a skilled Program Coordinator to join our team. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of care and support services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance to individuals in promoting their physical, social, and psychological well-being.
  • Interact positively with individuals and support staff to promote their rights and enhance their quality of life.
  • Follow agency procedures to promote optimum health care and behavioral supports.
  • Ensure consumer and guardian participation in the development of service plans and personal futures plans.
  • Coordinate the development of personal futures plans and implement service plans within 30 days of moving in, annually, or when significant changes occur.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor service sites to ensure they deliver services in accordance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor, implement, and supervise the delivery of service plans and personal futures plans, as well as training staff.
  • Maintain fiscal spending within approved budget limits.
  • Monitor worker's compensation and unemployment claims for assigned service sites.
  • Be proactive in reducing claims and minimizing risk and exposure to the agency.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or Social Services, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of verifiable work experience providing services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • One year of previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in managing systems, processes, and people.
