GENERAL FUNCTION
The Retail Operations Supervisor serves as a pivotal leader in the absence of, or in collaboration with, the Store Manager, embodying the essence of a business owner within the marketplace and the LensCrafters organization.
This role represents LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision-related needs within the community, ensuring the achievement of key performance metrics.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Enhances quality and drives improvements to surpass all key performance indicators (KPIs):
• Comparable Sales, % Sales to Plan; Conversion & Customer Count, Comparable Growth; Increased Foot Traffic; Store Operating Profitability; Continuity of Care, Exam Growth & Retention Goals; Net Promoter Score; Current year objectives.
Possesses a robust understanding of retail operations, translating to positive sales outcomes and insights into market dynamics and competitors.
Collaborates with the store manager to lead and nurture the team, providing clear, constructive, and timely feedback while partnering on developmental initiatives.
Implements visual merchandising directives and upholds store presentation standards.
Maintains a positive rapport with healthcare professionals.
Ensures team adherence to all policies and procedures.
Handles administrative responsibilities.
Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of management/supervisory experience with direct reports
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes, and policies
• Strong basic math skills
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators
• Proficient command of the English language for all written and verbal communication
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Demonstrated high-level selling abilities
• Proven problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• College degree or equivalent
• Previous leadership experience in retail and customer service sectors
• Understanding of basic optics
• Familiarity with current store merchandise
• State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states
• Brand Final Inspector Certification
• Brand Quality, Fitting & Adjusting Program
