Job Overview

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Responsibilities:

- Oversee the installation and upkeep of all closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and related electronic security apparatus.

- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for the effective installation and maintenance of the CCTV infrastructure.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues that arise with the CCTV systems and electronic security devices.

- Ensure all surveillance equipment is functional at the beginning, during, and at the end of each shift.

- Develop and adhere to a preventive maintenance schedule.

- Manage surveillance software and configure new applications and cameras as needed.

- Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and surveillance internal controls.

- Complete and maintain installation and maintenance documentation, records, and logs.

- Be available for on-call support regarding system issues.

Operational Responsibilities:

- Possess comprehensive knowledge of all gaming procedures and regulations as per the Virginia State Gaming Commission.

- Ensure the operational integrity of surveillance equipment throughout the shift.

- Accurately maintain all logs and documentation.

- Uphold confidentiality regarding all hotel and casino information.

- Report any incidents observed during the shift to the Director of Surveillance, Surveillance Manager, or on-duty Surveillance Supervisor.

- Communicate incidents effectively to gaming personnel via phone.

- Support the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment.

- Operate CCTV systems to monitor casino activities and prepare necessary reports and logs.

- Assist in the training of new personnel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

- A college degree or graduation from an accredited electronics program is preferred.

- A minimum of 2 years of experience with electronic security devices and CCTV systems, or a combination of technical training and experience.

- Must demonstrate a solid understanding of CCTV equipment systems and proficiency in the use of relevant tools, including hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments.

- Must maintain a neat and professional appearance with good personal hygiene.

- Must be at least 21 years of age.

- Must be able to obtain and hold a Virginia Gaming License from the Virginia Lottery.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.

- Must be able to repeatedly climb ladders and steps.

- Must possess the physical capability to crawl, climb, and maneuver in confined spaces without fear of heights or claustrophobia.

- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.

- Must be able to tolerate environments with secondhand smoke.

- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance according to the established schedule.

- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods.

- Requires dexterity and mobility throughout all shifts.

- Must be capable of operating equipment such as DVRs, servers, monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras.
