Job Title: Behavioral Health Monitor Tech - Night Shift

Job Summary:

Sovah Health - Danville is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Monitor Tech to provide services to ensure a safe environment for psychiatric patients in a locked inpatient unit setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform continual surveillance of behavioral health unit monitors and operate the patient-monitoring system.
  • Monitor dining/day rooms and hallways on Behavioral Health when occupied by patients to assure patient safety in the environment.
  • Report incidents, utilize nursing staff for concerns, discuss recent issues, and any pertinent patient details with covering/on-coming behavioral health monitor technician.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
