Burn ICU Registered Nurse Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Burn ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy STL Burn ICU, the largest and only dedicated Burn Center in St. Louis accredited through the American Burn Association.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate care for adults and children with all types of burns, frostbite, and other conditions or injuries that result in large wounds or skin loss.
  • Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver acute and reconstructive treatment to adults and children.
  • Manage patients throughout the continuum, from admission to discharge, and build strong patient relationships.
  • Prioritize patient safety and well-being, and apply knowledge and skills within fluctuating acuity levels.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
  • Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
