Burn ICU Registered Nurse Opportunity

Mercy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Burn ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide comprehensive care to adults and children with burns, frostbite, and other conditions requiring large wound or skin loss treatment.

About Our Burn ICU

Our 12-bed unit is accredited through the American Burn Association and provides acute and reconstructive treatment to adults and children. We offer a collaborative and supportive environment, with opportunities to pioneer new models of care and transform the healthcare experience through advanced technology and innovative procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of compassion and excellence
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
  • Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
