Burn ICU Registered Nurse Opportunity

Mercy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Burn ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care to adults and children with burns, frostbite, and other conditions requiring large wound or skin loss treatment.

About the Role
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Burn ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to interventions.
  • Participate in patient and family education, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and a culture of safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
