Key Responsibilities:

The Operations Supervisor will support the General Manager in guiding and mentoring the team to ensure outstanding experiences for our guests. Responsibilities include:

  • Creating an atmosphere where engagement, diversity, and showmanship thrive.
  • Setting the benchmark for professionalism and delivering top-notch service, cleanliness, and audio-visual quality.

Core Duties:

The full-time Operations Supervisor is a crucial hourly role focused on managing theatre operations and supervising staff, acting as a representative of Regmovies in alignment with our mission and policies.

Essential Functions:

  • Consistent and regular attendance.
  • Enforcing and managing all theatre policies.
  • Training, developing, and supervising non-management staff.
  • Performing various staff roles as necessary.
  • Operating all projection and audio-visual equipment, including film handling and maintenance.
  • Ensuring compliance with alcohol certification and training where applicable.
  • Monitoring safety and risk management for employees and patrons.
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing concerns.
  • Managing financial transactions, including cash and credit card receipts.
  • Adhering to dress code standards.
  • Completing the management certification program.
  • Conducting interviews, hiring, scheduling, and overseeing employee performance.
  • Controlling operational costs and managing inventory.
  • Overseeing theatre maintenance and coordinating repairs.
  • Implementing marketing strategies for film promotions and scheduling showtimes.
  • Completing required training on workplace conduct and compliance.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three months supervisory experience or six months of theatre experience with completion of the Cast Certification Program.
  • Legal age to serve alcohol if applicable, with completion of necessary training.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong public speaking and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform calculations accurately and identify errors.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate information effectively.
  • Proficiency in basic office software and equipment.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 60 lbs. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Operations Supervisor will oversee a team of employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and laws, and will be responsible for training, performance appraisal, and employee discipline as directed by the General Manager.
