Role Summary:


We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Full-Time Healthcare Administrative Assistant to support one of our physician offices.

In this capacity, you will deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to a physician practice at HSS, fostering an environment of clinical excellence.

Your responsibilities will encompass the operational functions of the medical office, including but not limited to:

  • Managing phone communications
  • Coordinating patient appointments
  • Facilitating surgical bookings
  • Obtaining necessary authorizations for treatments and diagnostic procedures
  • Overseeing patient check-in/out processes, including copay collection
  • Scanning documents into the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Executing additional tasks as assigned

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and office protocols
  • Typing speed of 45-60 words per minute
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Qualifications:


Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (an Associate's Degree is preferred) along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.

Compensation:
Minimum Pay: USD $32.11/Hr.

Maximum Pay: USD $33.20/Hr.
