We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to support our inpatient Imaging Radiology department on a part-time weekend shift basis.

  • Part-time/ Weekend Shift: Saturday & Sunday from 11 AM to 11 PM

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R), required
  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform radiography (x-ray) exams on patients ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures
  • Enter and monitor patient data
  • Perform quality assurance on radiology equipment
  • Identify and report any accidents, complaints or equipment malfunction to department management
  • May administer breath alcohol test and/or urine drug screens
  • Ensure safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service
  • Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency
  • Demonstrate commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences
  • Other duties as assigned
