About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to create high-quality images of the body's internal structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for MRI exams, explaining the procedure and administering contrast when necessary.
  • Position patients for the MRI scanner, selecting appropriate imaging techniques to ensure technical quality of the scan.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Perform quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment and matrix camera, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide safe and effective care to patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
