Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the month-end close process and ensure accurate financial statements.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, including construction project setup and maintenance.
  • Acquire and verify missing owner change order documentation from project teams.
  • Verify and balance owner billings for accuracy prior to posting.
  • Enter data into accounting software to reflect owner change orders and validate CMiC.
  • Reconcile change orders, executed vs. posted, and prepare Work in Progress (WIP) reporting.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and cash activity postings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience in construction or a related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • Proven experience in construction accounting, including job costing, WIP reports, Cash Receipts, and Billing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and accounting software.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with CMIC software.
