The New York City office is in search of a seasoned Paralegal specializing in Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational abilities and a proactive mindset to assist a group of attorneys within this practice area. This role involves critical support in the review and management of legal documentation as well as aiding in litigation-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and formatting of legal documents, including the creation of tables of authorities and contents.
  • Maintain and update attorney schedules and docket calendars.
  • File legal documents through Federal and District Electronic Court Filing Systems, including ITC Proceedings.
  • Organize and prepare trial documents and binders, including exhibits.
  • Establish and maintain electronic filing systems.
  • Prepare and distribute transmittal letters.
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of all transmittal materials.
  • Handle delivery requests as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, with a focus on Intellectual Property (IP).
  • Typing proficiency of 65+ words per minute.
  • Strong general office and computer skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining composure.
  • Consistent attendance and reliability.
  • Experience in drafting, revising, and editing legal documents.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal court regulations.
  • Proficient in Pacer Systems, ECF, and ITC Proceedings Systems.
  • High level of expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with document management systems such as ProLaw and iManage.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually.

The salary range provided is an estimate based on the role's requirements and candidate qualifications.
