About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing practice, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering compassionate care. As a member of our labor and delivery team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide individualized care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to expectant mothers and their families, ensuring a safe and supportive environment throughout the childbirth process.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vital signs, and other indicators to identify potential complications and take prompt action to address them.
  • Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and use various equipment as needed to support patient care.
  • Document patient information, progress notes, and any changes in condition to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed and registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in obstetrics or pediatrics.
  • Current BCLS certification required.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $105,000-$125,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
